Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your AudiMoon account and what happens to your data. You can delete your account directly in the app, or request deletion by email if you no longer have the app installed.

Option 1 — Delete your account in the app

Your account and associated data are deleted immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, or you cannot access your account, send an email to:

Please send the request from the email address associated with your AudiMoon account so we can verify your identity. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your account and login credentials
• Your profile (name, email, avatar)
• Your saved stories and playlists
• Your listening history and playback progress
• Your comments, replies, likes, and reactions
• Your listening preferences from onboarding

This deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What may be retained

• Purchase and subscription records are handled by the Apple App Store and Google Play, not by us. Deleting your AudiMoon account does not cancel an active subscription — you must cancel it in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Those stores keep their own transaction records under their policies.
• Anonymized and aggregated analytics that are no longer linked to you or your account may be retained to understand overall app usage.
• Data we are required to keep to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations, for only as long as required by law.

Cancel your subscription first

If you have an active AudiMoon Premium subscription, cancel it before deleting your account:

• iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → AudiMoon → Cancel Subscription
• Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → AudiMoon → Cancel
